Search Ark of Damocles in unofficial PC sessions (be sure to clear the password protected check box) and join! If you're having join issues, trying launching join>settings>network>go offline (wait a couple seconds)>go online and you should join right up. Wildcard has submitted a cert fix for this issue, should be resolved next week.
Send admin Cantaloop any questions not addressed in the discord (join the discord by going to https://discord.gg/Ea2bPb). The discord lists all current challenges and upcoming purge times. You can submit settings suggestions and challenge ideas, it's also fun and chatty.
Fresh 50 slot nitrado rag server with daily save backups. Generally friendly, population composed mostly of skilled, non-griefing adult players. Populated discord community.
No hard and fast rules, but using common sense is expected. Hassling people while they are building up, foundation wiping, griefing/trolling, perpetual caging, passive killing all frowned upon. Single adult admin. No admin favors, no admin favorites, no admin funny business. Admin is happy to help with things that don't give a fighting advantage - painting dinos, saving from glitches, etc.
ORP, except for 12 hour purges on the weekends.
Emphasis on good sportsmanship. Good citizen loot crate awards given for kind acts (resource gifts, dino gifts, raid help, stuck help, kind advice, reporting lost tames, etc.) confirmed in chat.
Prize boxes, challenges (find the secret box, kill the level 800 yeti, breed the strongest dodo with the weirdest colors, etc), arena events (tranq ball, capture the flag, parkour, horse racing, etc.) CAN WIN A PHOENIX! These will come available as spaces are built out on the new server.
Modest boosting. Actual challenge!
XP, gather, weight, tame, hatching and mature all boosted, just not craze.
No starters. Play it right. :)
Tribes are friendly towards new players and will even help you out with Wyvern eggs and stuff. You'll get plenty of time to build up while being left alone.....and if someone does mess with you too soon, it's likely others will help!
Lag reduced. No plant X (large crop plots disabled), no bronto or diplo tames (saddles disabled).
Meant to be what official should be - engaging, but doesn't have to take over your life. Requires effort, a tribe, planning and pride. Rewards with community, excellent fights without glitches, cheating or funny business.
